That bloody 50D expects you to hold the shutter-release button all the time you do the exposition longer than 30s. So if you want to push the ISO down or aperture up for better quality, you will be holding it minutes in freezing cold and shaking the camera anyway. I still can not believe how Canon can consider this as a good idea.
